LOVE….AND OTHER FORMS OF TRANSPORTATION
What its about: You live in the country. She lives in another country. You have trouble getting out of bed. He has trouble getting out of prison. But you can make it work. Falling in love can make us do things we never thought we would, or could. It can take us to new heights or sink to unbelievable lows. But it is the ride of your life, and real love gives new meaning to joy.
The music: Sparkling arrangements of songs by Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, Stephen Sondheim, Frank Wildhorn, Kander and Ebb and others.
Audiences: After an initial run of successful performances at Danny’s Skylight Room in March, 1998, Jude Treder-Wolff was asked to return to Danny’s for another run in the fall of 1998. Subsequently, the show has been booked for private parties, conferences and benefits.
Reviews:
“In this high-energy combination of standards and stand-up, she manages to put a comical spin on situations through which we all have agonized. Love…and Other Forms of Transportation is an amusing evening enhanced by the engaging personality of Jude Treder-Wolff.”

EVOLVING AT THE SPEED OF LIFE
What its about: This show explores the way life changes us. From coping with disappointments and unrealized dreams to losing in love, there are so many ways life turns out differently than we plan. As difficult as it may be to let go of our expectations and flow with the twists and turns of fate, things just may turn out better.
The music: Jazz (e.g. “Twisted” “All Right With Me,” ), blues (“Good Morning Heartache,”) classic Broadway (“If I Ruled The World,” “Why Should I Wake Up?”) and standards. Some original songs written by Jude Treder-Wolff and Bob Stecko.
Audiences: This show has entertained a wide range of audiences, including teens, college students, and adults. After the initial run at Danny’s Skylight Room in New York, it was booked for conferences and banquets sponsored by the National Association of Social Work, the YMCA, Stony Brook University, as well as other private functions.

WHISTLING IN THE DARK
What its about: This show skewers many of the things we turn to for comfort, and for answers – religion, psychotherapy, serial romance, Sara Lee, among others. Ultimately, it it is connection to one another that gives us courage to keep going through rough times, and those occasional moments of clarity that make it seem like its worth it after all.
Music: Lesser-known Broadway songs, more standards and jazz.
Audience: As above.
Reviews:
"...Inspired comic touch...exactly what the world needs now." Elizabeth Ahlfours, Cabaret scenes; "Combines stand-up with fantastic singing!"
